(00:09:00) Dude, that's it. We speak a common language here.

(00:36:09) These are full circle moments in their truest form. So just again, stoked to be on the ride with you, man.
(00:21:42) There's nobody to blame. Not my mom, not my dad, not anybody. So I cleaned all that up and became fully accountable to myself and hit the reset button.
(00:33:42) If you're interested, you've even thought about it, you should at least inquire, man, because to his point, your brand is so important, and this is such an easy way to get it out there.
Blog Post:
Are you looking to build a personal brand, but not sure where to start? Kenny Baden and Sebastian Rusk recently discussed the power of LinkedIn, Kenny's experience with Tony Robbins, and the importance of personal branding. Kenny was an early adopter of social media and was inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk's book, Crush It, to create content and a personal brand.
Kenny and Sebastian discussed the benefits of joining a mastermind group, starting a podcast, and the importance of leaving a lasting impact on the audience. Kenny created the Podcast Launch Lab and is now speaking, doing comedy, and getting booked for keynotes.
Kenny's journey began in 2008 when he moved back to Miami with his daughter and a duffel bag. He was offered an opportunity to go out to Las Vegas for a few months during the summer to work for a network marketing company to help them develop and facilitate a training program. During this time, he developed a training program for the company called Ad Labs. He also started getting on stage and talking for a living in 2009.
Kenny was an early adopter of social media, joining LinkedIn in 2002. He was later introduced to a personal development course by a girl he met on a dating app. Kenny took a year off to learn how to love himself and remain accountable for his life. This experience inspired him to phase out his client work and focus on helping people start podcasts. He created the Podcast Launch Lab, a 90-day turnkey podcast launch solution. Kenny was then introduced to a business mastermind called Apex which put rocket fuel on the Podcast Launch Lab.
Starting a podcast can be a great way to build a personal brand. Podcasts can be used as a networking tool and a lead generation tool and can also be used to create micro content for social media and promote the podcast and its episodes. Kenny and Sebastian both emphasize the importance of investing in oneself and taking risks.
If you're considering starting a podcast, Sebastian has written a book called "Podcast Suck" which provides all the steps necessary to start a podcast. You can find him on Instagram at @podcastsuck and he has a link in his bio to schedule a call.
At the end of the day, the key to building a successful personal brand is to invest in yourself and take risks. Kenny Baden and Sebastian Rusk are living proof of this. Kenny is now speaking, doing comedy, and getting booked for keynotes, and Sebastian is a successful speaker and the fourth-largest real estate firm in the US.
So, if you're looking to build a personal brand, take a page out of Kenny and Sebastian's book and invest in yourself, take risks, and start a podcast. You never know where it might take you.
